Ingredients
Vanjiram (king) fish : ½ kilo
Ginger : a small piece
Garlic : 1 (big)
Grated coconut : ½ cup
Chilli Powder : as needed
Turmeric Powder : 1 tsp
Lime : ½
Salt : as needed
Oil : ¼ kilo
Method
Wash the fish pieces and set aside.
Grind grated coconut, ginger, garlic into a paste.
Add turmeric powder, chilli powder, salt to the paste and mix.
Dip the fish pieces in this masala and set aside to marinate for ½ an hour.
Heat oil in a frying pan.
Fry the fish pieces in oil till they are golden in colour.
Arrange the fried fish on a plate and decorate with onion and tomato cut in a round shape.
Lime juice may be added before serving if needed.
